Man dies after accident in Huddersfield

A 21-year-old man has died following an accident in Huddersfield.

The Major Collision Enquiry Team would like to speak to anyone who has information about the incident which took place at about 4.25am on Sunday, October 13, on Wakefield Road, near the Shorehead roundabout in Huddersfield.

It occurred after a Renault Clio appears to have gone out of control and collided with a wall while travelling towards Aspley.

The driver suffered serious injuries from which he sadly died shortly afterwards in hospital.

A passenger, a 21-year-old male, suffered minor injuries and was treated at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary.
