Man on motorcycle crashes into lorry in Leeds


Police are appealing for witnesses after a man suffered serious injuries when his motorcycle was involved in a collision with a heavy goods vehicle in Leeds city centre this morning (Thursday).

The collision happened shortly after 8am in Thwaite Gate outside the DM Keith Skoda dealership.

The 33-year-old motoryclist was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with life threatening injuries.

PC James Farrar, of the Eastern Area Roads Policing Unit, said: “I would urge anyone who witnessed this collision to call the Eastern Area Roads Policing Unit on 101 asking for myself as investigating officer.”
