A MAN was taken to hospital after a house blaze in Halifax.

Two crews from Halifax Fire Station were called to the fire at Beacon Hill Road in Claremount at 4.20pm yesterday.

The fire was in the front room.

A man suffered smoke inhalation and was given oxygen therapy by firefighters before being taken to hospital by ambulance.
