It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in the town centre.

Traders in Halifax’s historic Borough Market are taking a step back in time to bring a festive feel to the town.

Stallholders will be dressed in fantastic Victorian outfits behind their stalls, right up until Christmas Eve.

Sheryden Clegg, owner of Diamond Beauty Bar and president of the Borough Market Traders Association, said: “It’s added a really festive feel to the market.”

There’s also a ‘Winter Wonderland’ in the market, which is raising money for the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice.
