Masked men burst into Halifax home

DETECTIVES are hunting three balaclava-clad thieves who burst into a Halifax home yesterday.

A 19-year-old woman, 15-year-old boy and baby were threatened by the trio who burst in at the house on Vicar Park Road in Norton Tower at 5.45pm.

They took jewellery before escaping in a silver three-door old-style Ford Focus.

No one was hurt during the robbery.

They drove off on Roils Head Road towards Mount Tabor.

The culprits were all described as white and two were in their early 20s, one was aged between 15 and 16.

One was of medium build and 6ft tall, another was slim and 5ft 5ins tall and the other was slim and 5ft 2ins tall.

Police believe the silver car was parked in Norton Drive near the junction with Roils Head Road before the robbery.

Anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area or the car before or after the robbery is being asked to get in touch.
