Hundreds of people will set off on a midnight hike to raise money and awareness for Overgate Hospice.
The Midnight Walk, which is now in its seventh year, will take place on September 13 at 10.30pm and starts from North Bridge Leisure Centre, Halifax.
Walkers have the choice to take part in the six or 13 mile walk to fundraise much needed funds for the hospice.
David Sutcliffe, who will be walking in memory of his mum Maxine, said: “It will be a fantastic way to give something back to such a valuable and worthwhile cause.”
Laura Golding, Overgate’s fundraising and retail manager, said: “When we held our first Midnight Walk, 200 people took to the streets in support of their local hospice. Now, seven years later more than 800 people will walk it.
“Each and every year I am overcome by the generosity and kindness of the Calderdale community who fundraise so tirelessly for Overgate. Our hospice is an important part of the community and I like to think that our supporters see it as their hospice; something that they helped to build and grow.”
