PEOPLE of all faiths gathered at Halifax Minster to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
Calderdale Interfaith Council organised the event on Saturday to mark the special anniversary.
Children from local primary schools, high school and Calderdale College took part in the day as well as the police, fire service and NHS.
There were stalls selling jewellery and clothes and those offering information on Calderdale Council, the NHS, Women’s Interfaith Group and the education officer for Halifax Minster.
Guests also enjoyed a Bhangra dance perfmance and there was a bouncy castle for the children.
Raja Taufiq Khan, faith ambassador at Calderdale Interfaith Council, said: “We wanted to celebrate the Queen’s diamond jubilee. We involved people of different faiths, and people of no faith, across Calderdale.
“Even though it rained, it was an excellent event. Everyone enjoyed it.
“We offer our sincere devotion and sincere respect to Her Majesty The Queen for her diamond jubilee.”
