The Miss West Yorkshire 2014 Finals were held at The Viaduct Theatre, Halifax.
Girls from across the region strutted their stuff in the hope of being crowned Miss West Yorkshire with an automatic place in the Miss England Finals, later this year.
The judging panel was comprised of retail and fashion gurus from across the region including Shelf’s Proms and Pearls.
Event organiser and photographer Paul Furness of Sarah and Paul Photography said the judges had tough decisions to make on the night.
But the cream of the catwalk was 19-year-old student Sheila Muzvidziwa, pictured, from Castleford, who dazzled the judges with her top model attributes.
Otley and Leeds girls Holly Hawke and Jacqui Columbine, pictured, came first and second runners-up on the night and have been successful in securing places in the Miss England semi finals as runners-up.
Mr Furness said: “All the girls were exceptional in beauty and talents - Sheila is an opera singer and Jacqui is a professional dancer.
“The night went off with a bang with an indoor firework display.
“The girls were pampered in the day with hair and make-up done professionally before they performed on the night.”
Mr Furness said a Miss England judge who attended the Halifax event said the Yorkshire entrants showcased exceptional beauty and talent.
Other girls were successful in the competition and were crowned winners of categories including Miss Popularity West Yorkshire and Miss Social Media.
The Miss England Final 2014 will be held in June in Devon.
