Thousands of excited children waiting hours to get a glimpse of a hit children’s TV presenter who paid a visit to Eureka! at the weekend.

The CBeebies’ favourite Mister Maker made a special appearance at the national children’s museum to celebrate the end of the summer Made By Me festival.

Mini Makers, and their parents, sang and danced the day away alongside Mister Maker. The crowd was taught a brand new dance and Mister Maker was joined on stage by Eureka!’s Orby the Alien and a few dancing astronauts.

Mister Maker, said: “I had a fantastic time at Eureka. It was amazing to see so many Mini Makers at the museum.”

Jenny Parker, Eureka! Play and Learning Co-ordinator, who organised the event said: “We’re really delighted that Mister Maker was able to visit us to round off our summer celebration of making.

“We love Mister Maker, and our visitors clearly enjoyed seeing one of their CBeebies heroes in the flesh. If only we could have him here every week.”
