Children at a Halifax school created a model village as part of a school project.

Wainstalls School pupils in class 4 and class 5 created the miniature town thanks to help from Calder High School in Mytholmroyd, who donated bench hooks, saws and other equipment to help the project.

Parents were then invited in to admire their children’s handy work.

Rachel Priest from Wainstalls School, said: “Calder High School allowed use to use some of their equipment which allowed the children to create this fantastic project.”
