A LITTLE boy has lost his treasured bike to thieves.

Seamus Crabtree’s black and red Moto-X bike was taken on Monday night from outside his home on Hops Lane in Wheatley, Halifax.

The seven-year-old, who is a pupil at St Malachy’s Primary School, was given the bike as a present for his last birthday and was out on it regularly.

His mum Natalie said; “He’s really upset about it.

“There is a snicket at the end of our road and I think they must have taken it down that because if they had taken on the road, everyone knows it is Seamus’s bike as it is quite unusual.”

She and her husband went looking for the bike but there was no sign of it.

They are urging anyone who has seen it or has been approached by someone offering to sell a bike of the same description to call police.

Anyone who can help should call 0845 6060606.
