EUREKA will open its doors to host tailor-made naming ceremonies.
One Life Ceremonies are offering the non-religious alternative to christenings in the 1855 building.
Laura Nalty from One Life Ceremonies said: “Eureka is the ideal place to celebrate this family event which can be held to mark the arrival of a new baby or to formally name a child of any age, as well as welcoming adopted or step-children into a family.”
Each ceremony is individually written after meeting with the family.
The museum, in Halifax, has already hosted its first ceremony, with Kat Soutar and Jack Hughes from Leeds, who had a naming ceremony for their children Maia and Louie.
Guests at the ceremony can also explore the museum free of charge.”
