Neighbours’ Day back on the calendar

Action-packed festivities will take place in the Piece Hall for this year’s Calderdale Neighbours’ Day.

The annual event will feature a mix of activities, entertainment and fun courtesy of local community groups, schools, clubs, sports, music, dance and performing arts organisations - showcasing the best of Calderdale.

This year’s neighbours’ day will be at the Piece Hall on Saturday June 8 from 11am to 4.30pm.

The day, organised by Voluntary Action Calderdale, Day is all about bringing together and celebrating Calderdale’s diverse communities and local talent.

The free event, which is now in its eighth year, has attracted as many as 11,000 people. Neighbours’ Day is celebrated all over Europe and beyond, with people in 1,200 towns attending fairs, fetes and gatherings to celebrate the communities they live in. Visit
