The Brighouse RSPCA charity shop has begun a new chapter in the town by moving to new premises.

The new, bigger shop is now based on Commercial Street and was officially opened by Calder Valley MP Craig Whittaker and special visitors from the The RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield and District branch.

Joanne Scott, manager of the branch, said: “We have a fantastic team of staff and volunteers who are all excited about moving.

“Brighouse is a great town and our shop has many regular customers and I am looking forward to the challenge of running the new shop.”
