New Red Arrow buses fly into Halifax

A fleet of new, upgraded buses have hit the streets of Halifax.

The 521, 522, and 523 bus services are becoming the Red Arrow - a new way to travel between Halifax, Ovenden and Illingworth.

The nine revamped buses run up to 12 times an hour and are kitted out with free Wi-Fi access and comfy leather seats.

Halifax MP Linda Riordan said: “The buses are excellent.

“What we want and what we need in Halifax is if we get more buses like this, running on time and regularly, we’re more likely to use them.”

The cost to travel on some routes has also been reduced.
