A Halifax nightclub is celebrating after their manager was crowned manager of the year for the north.

Adrian Broadhead, 37, of Liquid & Maine Street, in Halifax, has been named Northern Regional Manager of the Year by the UK’s largest nightclub operator, The Luminar Group.

The company, operates 53 nightclubs nationally, held their annual awards ceremony at Whittlebury Hall, Northamptonshire to recognise outstanding nominees.

The recognition follows a challenging year for Adrian.

Adrian said: “This has been a difficult year and the award is truly a team effort. Together, we have managed to attract the very best global guest DJs and celebrities, such as Joel Corry and The Squatters, offering local people a fantastic night out of the kind that you would only expect to find in a large city centre.

“We will continue to deliver first rate entertainment, with The Futuristic Polar Bears making an appearance on the August Bank Holiday weekend, which in turn will bring vibrancy and essential employment to Halifax.”
