NINE more people have appeared in court on drugs offences after being arrested during an undercover police operation.
They were all caught as part of Operation Irondale - a Calderdale-wide crackdown involving more than 100 police officers.
Nadeem Rafiq, 27 of Victoria Road, Halifax, faces seven charges including supplying cannabis, being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine and receiving £1,100 of stolen goods.
Richard Sunderland, 46, of Haugh Shaw Road, Bell Hall, is charged with six counts of possessing and supplying cannabis.
Sikander Ishak, 26, of Harvest Court, Halifax, appeared on six counts of supplying heroin and cocaine.
Talib Saddiq, 25, of Lombard Street, King Cross faces six charges of supplying cannabis, being concerned in the supply of cannabis, heroin, cocaine and crack cocaine.
Adil Idris, 22, of Mayfield Avenue, King Cross is said to have supplied class A drugs and faces one charge of having criminal property.
Sikander Maliq, 26, of Melrose Street, Lee Mount, faces one charge of supplying heroin.
Sheryl Navin, 29, of Denfield Crescent, Ovenden, is charged with nine drugs charges including supplying and offering to sell amphetamines and being concerned in the supply of cocaine. Cara Smith, 22, of Rugby Terrace is charged with supplying amphetamines and Kenneth Navin, 56, is said to have been concerned in the supply of amphetamines.
They were all bailed at Calderdale Magistrates’ Court to reappear at Bradford Crown Court on May 3.
Another ten people had appeared in court this week also arrested during the operation.
