A TOWN centre restaurant has had a successful opening month.
The former Pizza Hut restaurant at Southgate, Halifax, has been transformed into Red Onion, an Indian restaurant.
It had a busy opening night complete with stilt walkers and magician Benz to give people a taste of India.
New customers including Iles and Nathan Barlow trialled the new menu at the restaurant, which brought around 18 jobs into the town centre.
The restaurant has been opened by Mohammed Aumran and Rajab Ali. They already have seven branches including restaurants in Birmingham and London as well as Huddersfield.
Mr Ali said they had picked Halifax as their latest opening after seeing the growth of local towns including Sowerby Bridge.
