Binmen manage and I have never had a single slip!

Regarding no post for Enid Sugden (“Path ‘too slippy’ to deliver post to Enid, 82”. Courier, November 23, page 4).

Not one single complaint from the bin men who use the path but always have a happy smile on their faces. The path is a public footpath and does not belong to Mrs Sugden but to a farmer and is part of the Calderdale Way. She has a lane to her house that Land Rovers use and Mrs Sugden uses with her car so why not the post van? No excuse! I have used the path, also the lane, for years and never a slip and I am 70. I do know that older people than me use it often. I thought it was against the law to withhold mail. As for the letter telling Mrs Sugden her mail had been suspended was lost in the post - what a fantastic advert for Royal Mail!
