THE Orange Street roundabout, at the Dean Clough side of Halifax, will be completely closed to traffic from 7pm on Monday, July 18, until 6am for resurfacing work.
It is likely to be shut for another five consecutive nights before the work is finally completed on Saturday, July 23.
The roundabout is one of the busiest junctions in Calderdale and is being closed at night to creating gridlock.
Changes have been made to the road layout to make it easier and safer to enter and leave the new Broad Street Plaza.
Calderdale Council has apologised for the closure and says diversions will be in place through Dean Clough, Lea Bridge and Shroggs Road, North Bridge and King Cross Street.
