Organisers all set to rock for the second Bridgefest in village

A village will be filled with the sound of music at the second Bridgefest takes place next month.

Organisers are looking to build on the success of last year’s music festival will take place in the grounds of Bailiff Bridge Community Centre on Saturday, May 28, and will feature live music, entertainment and food.

Running from 12.30pm until 8pm at the community centre, on Victoria Road, Bridgefest will see numerous bands and musicians perform during the day.

The line-up includes the Psychoslinkys, Ade Payne, Jess Huxham, the Rainey Street Band, Georgia Farrar, Shanter, Nay Harrison and Oil City.

There will also be a children’s zone (£5 on entry to play all day) and entertainment including face painter, sand art, lucky dip/tombola and raffle.

The bar will be open throughout the event from 1.30pm until 8pm.

The community car park will be closed due to the attractions.

Own alcohol is prohibited with visitors able to bring picnics, blankets and camping chairs.

Entry is £5 for adults and free for under two’s (small charge if they are wanting to play) .
