Popular organist Nigel Ogden (pictured) will be entertaining audiences at Halifax Minster on Saturday, July 12 at 7.30pm.
The presenter of BBC Radio 2’s ‘The Organist Entertains’, will play a programme of popular and light classical music . He celebrated 43 years of broadcasting this year and has been presenting Radio 2’s longest running specialist music programme since 1980.
In addition he has a considerable recording output with more than 70 albums to his credit, either as a solo performer or accompanist.
He is recognised as one of the country’s most popular performers at the organ console and his versatility and virtuosity have won his legions of fans.
Tickets for the concert are £10 on the door.
