A 20-year-old man with no previous convictions has been told a custodial sentence is an option after he admitted two offences of outraging public decency in a street.

Nauman Haider, of Queen’s Road, Halifax, admitted the offences.

They arose out of two separate incidents in Spa Lane, Huddersfield, in March this year.

Haider accepted committing acts of a “lewd, obscene and disgusting nature’’ on March 23 and March 25.

Barrister Adam Birkby asked for his client’s case to be adjourned for the preparation of a pre-sentence report .

Recorder Sandra Keen said his case would be dealt with on Octobert 31.

She granted Haider unconditional bail but warned him that the report would look at all sentencing options, including custody.
