Two Parliamentary candidates fighting for the Halifax seat will be opening their campaign offices in Halifax town centre next week.

Conservative candidate Philip Allott will open his campaign office on Horton Street on Tuesday.

This will be followed by Mr Allott meeting residents around the constituency accompanied by Communities Secretary Eric Pickles.

Labour candidate Holly Walker-Lynch will open her campaign office on Union Street on Wednesday. It will be opened by retiring Labour MP and former Cabinet Minister David Blunkett.

Liberal Democrat candidate Mohammad Ilyas opened his office on Hopwood Lane last month.
