Police investigating a collision in Bradford which left a pedestrian with serious injuries have released a CCTV image of a motorcycle they would like to trace.

A 58-year-old local man suffered two broken legs in the incident, which occurred on Leeds Road at around 10.44pm on September 27. He remains in hospital in a stable condition.

The image shows the motorcycle travelling towards Leeds along Leeds Road around 15 minutes before the collision. The rider can be seen wearing what looks like a black and yellow rucksack or jacket.

The motorcycle was black in colour and was a sports style bike similar to a Suzuki Bandit. The rider was also wearing black leathers and a black helmet.

PC Craig Ward of the Western Area Roads Policing Unit, who is investigating the incident, said he hoped that the release of this image might bring new information.

Any witnesses who might have seen the bike in the area moments before the collision are also urged to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Ward at the Western Area Roads Policing Unit on 101 or by calling Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
