Pensioner taken to hospital following Bramley crash

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury collision involving a car and a pedestrian last night (Friday) in Bramley.

At around 7.30pm, a silver Ford Fiesta was turning right onto Stanningley Road from Rossefield Approach when it was involved in a collision with a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a man in his 80s, was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with serious injuries and remains in hospital at this time.

Anyone who witnessed this collision is asked to call the Eastern Area Roads Policing Unit on 101.
