Police appeal for witnesses after motorcyclist is injured in M621 collision

Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcycle rider was seriously injured in a road traffic collision yesterday (Friday).

The incident happened at approximately 7.05am on the M621 eastbound from junction 27 of the M62 towards junction 1 of the M621.

At that time a black coloured Honda CR-V and the motorbike - a blue and white coloured Suzuki GSXR were in collision.

As a result of the incident the 30 year old male motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and he remains in hospital in a serious, but stable condition.

PC Matthew Judge of the Safer Roads and Neighbourhood Support team, said: “I would appeal for any witnesses to the incident and anyone who saw either vehicle immediately before the incident to contact me on 101.”
