Police name two men found dead in Bradford

Two men found dead in a street in Bradford have been named.

Shahbzada Muhammed Imran, also known locally as Imran Khan, 27, of Gloucester Avenue, Bradford and Ahmedin Sayed Khyel, 35, from London were discovered on New Lane in Bradford on Tuesday.

Officers investigatign their deatsh yesterday arrested two wome - aged 26 and 63 - at an address in the Leeds Road area of Bradford on suspicion of murder.

Forensic inquiries were being carried out at an address in Heath Terrace and a vehicle that police say may have been involved has been recovered in the Whetley Lane area of the city.

Detective Superintendent Dick Nuttall said: “We now know that both men left the house on Gloucester Avenue at around 8pm on Tuesday evening. They were together and on foot.

“I am appealing for anyone who saw the men in the area at this time to contact us so that we can piece together their movements in the period before their death.

“Any witnesses or anyone with any information which could assist in our investigations is urged to contact the incident room immediately on 01924 334693.”
