Police release CCTV of armed robbery on Coral bookmakers in Halifax

These images have been released by police in connection with an armed robbery at a bookmakers in Halifax.

At 8.20pm on Tuesday, March 19, two men entered the Coral shop on Clare Road and threatened staff with a knife as well as demanding cash.

The men stole hundreds of pounds from the till and left the shop in the direction of Prescott Street.

The suspects are described as wearing balaclavas. One of the men is described as Asian, 5ft 7ins tall, of a stocky build, wearing a dark blue coloured hooded top and carrying a knife.

The second man is described as white, over 6ft tall, of a skinny build and wearing a hooded jacket.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have seen these men in the area of Clare Road on the evening of Tuesday March 19 or who may be able to identify them.
