Police release e-fit of Bradford robbery suspect

Police investigating a robbery in Burley-in-Wharfedale have released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

An Asian woman was sat waiting for her husband in her car in Main Street at about 8.30pm on Friday 5 April, when a man opened the passenger door and stole two mobile phones.

The woman was punched and kicked in a struggle with the offender, who then ran off, chased by the woman’s husband and another man.

The robber is described as white, about 5ft 8 ins tall of slim build and in his thirties. He was wearing a hooded top and was seen getting into a silver Ford Focus with a partial registration of YF54, which drove off towards Ilkley.
