HEALTH, housing, law and order are some of the issues Labour will have to develop clear policies on if it is to get back into Government, according to Shadow Home Secretary Yvette Cooper.
The Labour MP for Normanton, Pontefract and Castleford was speaking to supporters in Halifax, above. She said the party must also look for ways to improve young peoples’ job prospects.
The MP was in town for one of Labour’s first meetings to review party policy for the first time in nearly 20 years.
She said: “We want to know what people think our priorities should be.”
