Four Conservative candidates fighting for key seats in Calderdale have been announced.
Councillor Stephen Baines will once again stand in the Northowram and Shelf ward representing the residents of Northowram & Shelf.
He is presently leader of the Conservative Group on Calderdale Council and chair of the appeals panel and audit committee.
Councillor Martin Peel will also stand for re-election in the Sowerby Bridge ward where he has served for several years and is presently deputy chair of the planning committee.
Andrew Tagg and Keith Hutson return to fight for seats at next year’s local elections.
Mr Tagg, chairman of the Halifax Conservative Association, will stand in Skircoat ward.
Mr Hutson, is hoping to return to the council after stepping down and will stand in Warley.
