UKIP select candidate for Halifax Parliamentary seat

The UK Independence Party has announced its candidate that will fight for the Halifax Parliamentary seat.

Ogden resident, Mark Weedon has been selected as the UKIP candidate in next months General Election.

Mr Weedon said he sees UKIP as the true guardian of Brexit and believes that providing a strong voice for Halifax will ensure that the Prime Minister is under pressure to deliver what the people of Halifax voted for.

He outlined that he will fight for additional funding for Eureka Children’s Museum and is fully supportive of Calderdale Royal Hospital’s Accident and Emergency department remaining open and stated he would rather see the money spent on Halifax than being given away in foreign aid.
