There’s still time to win a meal for four at the Maltings College.
In support of the SmartMove campaign ‘Come Dine for Calderdale’, the Maltings college are offering five lucky winners, four dining invitations each, to a four-course dining experience at the Maltings College on October 10 from 7pm.
The four-course meal will be prepared by inhouse chef Matthew Anderson and assisted by apprentice Maltings students.
Chef Matthew Anderson said: “The Malting’s College is a fantastic place to train and learn, it prepares students to the highest standard ready for the challenges that face them in their catering careers as brilliant chefs.”
Come Dine for SmartMove is asking Calderdale residents between October 10-25 to host a ‘come dine style’ dinner party where guests donate £10 towards SmartMove - a Calderdale charity that helps homeless people find housing and offers other services.
The second half of the one-month campaign is asking local eateries to donate £1 for every dining party during the ‘Dine Out’ campaign where you can have your cake and eat it - eating out, not having to do the dishes; and doing your bit for charity at the same time!
Just answer the following question to be in with a chance to win:
Parsley sauce is traditionally served with which dish?
A. Fish and Chips?
B. Roast Beef?
C. Full English
