THESE youngsters got creative to help promote a day celebrating Calderdale.

Pupils at Bolton Brow Primary School, Sowerby Bridge, were asked to design love-themed T-shirts to be worn at Love Calderdale.

The free event, organised by churches actoss the district, takes place at the Piece Hall in Halifax on Saturday, May 26.

Previously named Love Halifax, the day has expanded to cover all of Calderdale after a wealth of interest from other areas.

It will include live music, face painting, stalls and a host of other entertainment.
