Music-lovers are in for a treat at the Puzzle Hall Inn in Sowerby Bridge next weekend.

Rock, folk, funk and more from bands across Calderdale and beyond are set to fill the air at the pub’s Bank Holiday music festival.

Kicking off the festivities at 3pm on Saturday, August 25 will be The Oreoh!s, followed by Halifax band Uncle Johnny, Tenth Leper, Stephen Langstaff, Bootscraper and Lovecraft.

Blues, punk and metal performers Black Lanterns, also from Halifax, will headline.

On the Sunday, Allies will be the first act on at 3pm, followed by Lee Southall, of The Coral, and Molly Jones.

Theatrical rock ensemble Moody Gowns are also lined-up, along with Dancing Years and Johnny The Firth.

The Steals, based in Calderdale, will be topping the bill, playing ambient. folk and pychedelic tunes.

The Puzzle also has music in store the night before, on Friday, August 24, with a performance from GOLD - a four-piece from Halifax who describe themselves as a “dream-pop outfit” with “playful lyrics and bittersweet melodies to produce a spirited yet delicately dreamy soundscape”.
