Bus prices may be rising but passengers can still save money with a new £10 weekly ticket.

The cost of an adult single ticket in Halifax will rise 10p to £1.40 from April 1, but First are hoping the £10 ticket will encourage more people to travel by bus.

First’s Oliver Howarth said: “One or two of our single fares are going up so there is greater incentive for people to buy weekly travel in advance to get the best value-for-money.”
