Pupils and teachers at Beech Hill Primary School, Mount Pleasant Avenue, took a step back in time when they took part in a ‘Victorian Day’. Yasmeen Amin, who works at the school, said: “We went through the day as if a Victorian would have done, the whole school dressed up. They loved the day, even the teachers got involved and it was a really good way for them to learn about the era. It really excited the children as there is obviously a huge difference between the Victorian time and today.” This fantastic photograph shows the pupils dressed up in their authentic Victorian costumes.
