Radcliffe Borough 3 FC Halifax Town 2 : Aspin down in the dumps
BOSS Neil Aspin could not believe what he was watching as his Town side threw away a two goal lead at Radcliffe.
The Shaymen were cruising after 55 minutes of the game at Stainton Park thanks to goals from midfielders Scott Phelan and Harry Winter.
But Borough - the form team in Unibond One North with five wins in their previous six games - hit back in dramatic style to claim the points.
Ben Wharton scored twice, both from the edge of the area, and Shaun Connor headed home from a corner as Halifax were condemned to a 3-2 defeat - only their second of the season in Unibond One North.

"I started in football when I was 16 and now I am 45," said Aspin. "This is probably the most disappointed I have been.
"To be in such control of a game - such a one sided game - and lose is upsetting, frustrating and annoying.
"The players have disappointed me massively.
"Everything was going fine. We knew how Radcliffe would play and we set up accordingly.
"But the game is never won at 2-0 and if the opposition gets a goal back it changes the momentum.
"We gave away some bad goals which could all have been prevented."
Aspin added that he'd had his say in the changing room immediately after the final whistle and was now turning his attention towards tomorrow's home clash with Ossett Albion.
"I expected a difficult game and we were making it look easier than I thought it would be," he said.
"But football has a nasty habit of kicking you in the teeth and that's what has happened to us.
"We have put ourselves under pressure and we need to get a result tomorrow.
"I have said what I have had to say and we have to get on with it.
"You can only shout and bawl for so long because we have another game coming up quickly."
Town lost ground in the race for promotion as Lancaster City made predictably light work of their home game with Harrogate Railway, winning 3-0.
That puts them nine points in front of Town although they have a tricky-looking away game at Curzon Ashton tonight.
"It is a big blow in terms of trying to win the league," said Aspin.
"My concern is the way we have conceded goals and that teams are going to put us under pressure if they think that is the way to get at us.
"We have to defend better. We did not have to defend much on Saturday and they have to do their job."
It was a bad day all round for the Shaymen with Curzon Ashton beating Prescot Cables 2-1 on Tameside and Skelmersdale moving up to second in the table with a 2-1 win at Colwyn Bay.
