Lynne Harding, 57, and her daughter Kelly, 22, have run The Tea Set since May 2007 and wanted to thank all the “friendly” bunch of customers who voted for them.

“I can’t believe it, it’s absolutely wonderful.”

Richard and Sheri Wolfenden, who took over Amante Coffee Shop in King Street three years ago, were equally over the moon and said: “We’re very proud of the achievment .”

Lisa Nicholson from The Daily Grind said: “We’ve only been open a year, so it’s fantastic news.”
