The world famous Red Arrows display team will fly over Eureka! The National Children’s Museum today.
The creme de la creme of the RAF make up the display team who are in Blackpool for an air show but will make a detour to Halifax on their way back home.
They have confirmed with the museum that the scheduled fly-past for 5.10pm is still on and the sun has begun to shine in Halifax town centre.
The crew will fly over Broad Street Plaza aiming for Eureka! before they carry on with their journey to their base in Lincolnshire.
Tom Warman, our director of marketing and development, said: “This is a fantastic spectacle for Halifax and we’re delighted that the RAF and Red Arrows agreed to make a fly past during our 2013 Playfest just for us.
“So we’d like to invite anyone along who wants to see this iconic flying team to join us in the grounds at Eureka! in time for a scheduled 5.10pm fly past directly over Eureka!”
