Parents who have lost a baby during pregnancy or suffered a stillbirth will are invited to services hosted by the Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust.
They will be held on Sunday (Dec 1) at 3 pm in the chapel at the Calderdale Royal Hospital, and on Friday, December 6, at 7.30 pm at St Thomas’ Church, Manchester Road, Huddersfield (opposite Wickes).
Hospital chaplain, George Spencer said: “These services are an opportunity for parents and close family members to have a special time in the busy run-up to Christmas to remember their babies.
“We use readings and music and we light candles to remember lives which have been so briefly known.
“By coming together parents are able to offer support to each other. Everyone is very welcome.”
