Award-winning Halifax theatre company Northern Broadsides will host a special event next month to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
It will be held on Sunday, June 11, at The Arches, Dean Clough, Halifax, to raise money to support the company’s future work.
It will begin with a drinks reception, followed by a three-course meal, auction and entertainment.
Auction items include memorabilia from the original 1992 Northern Broadsides production of Richard III, a weekend for two in Scarborough to see Northern Broadsides’ next production - Blake Morrison’s new play For Love or Money, tickets to a performance at the Royal Shakespeare Company of award winning playwright and patron Mike Poulton’s new version of Imperium: Part 1 Conspirator and Part II Dictator and the opportunity to join Northern Broadsides artistic director and actor Barrie Rutter for a day in a private box at Pontefract races.
Many of the company’s actors and actresses over the 25 years will attend the event along with patrons and trustees.
Tickets for the full event, including the three course sit down meal, entertainment and supper, are £30.
