Replica firearms stolen in Huddersfield

Detectives investigating the theft of a number of replica firearms in a burglary in Longwood, Huddersfield, are urging anyone who has been offered such items for sale to contact police.

The replica firearms were stolen from a property in Longwood Edge Road sometime between 5pm and 7pm on Monday.

The stolen items included a WW1 (1913) deactivated Officers’ Webley handgun, a reproduction long barrel black revolver, a reproduction bronze 18th Century revolving rifle and a silver Colt revolver.

Anyone who has been offered any of these items for sale or who has information about their whereabouts is asked to call Detective Constable 4321 Carla Senior at Huddersfield Police Station on 101. Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
