Reports of trouble at Halifax Town and Lancaster City football match

A HALIFAX Town football match was delayed after reports of fighting among the crowds.

The game against Lancaster City at the Giant Axe in Lancaster was stopped for around half an hour and the police were called.

Officers said they were alerted at 3.10pm to reports of a scuffle.

One man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly and five were ordered to levae the game.

They said no one was seriously injured.
