Roger Davies, one of today’s most engaging singer-songwriters, is making a welcome return to Square Chapel arts centre, Halifax, on Saturday, March 29.

To celebrate the start of the Tour de France in Yorkshire in July, Roger has recorded a special song. ‘The Grand Depart’ which captures the sense of excitement and anticipation of the event. The song has been recorded as a collaboration between Roger and five-piece band The Durbervilles.

“It’s not every day that the Tour de France passes through your own backyard so I wanted to make a positive contribution in the form of this celebratory song,” said Roger.

Copies of the limited edition CD single are available to buy from Square Chapel box office with proceeds going to the ‘Cornerstone’ Building Extension Fund. The concert starts at 7.30pm, tickets from the box office on 01422 349422.
