Double gold winning paralympian Hannah Cockroft was guest of honour at a Rotary Club dinner - and received two awards.
Hannah was made an honourary member of the Rotary Club of Halifax Calder at a dinner at Holdsworth House.
She was also presented with the Rotary’s highest honour - a Paul Harris Fellowship.
President of the Rotary club Stan Richardson said: “In making this award it was in recognition, not only of Hannah’s amazing achievements at the Paralympics 2012, but also for her contribution to work in the local community and her dedication to international peace and understanding.”
After the meal, Hannah spoke to the club about her experience of the paralympics.
