South Yorkshire-based children’s charity SAFE@LAST hosted a weekend of fund-raising fun at the stately home of Lord and Lady Scarbrough.

The weekend-long event featured a clay pigeon shoot and a posh picnic and fashion show featuring items from the best of South Yorkshire’s fashion designers; Kelly Clark England, Yes Orange, Anabaptise and SAFE@LAST’s Charity Chicks Boutique.

Items exhibited, among many others, were available for guests to purchase.

Hilary Massarella, SAFE@LAST founder trustee, organised the picnic alongside Miss South Yorkshire 2014 founder Jill Faulkner, as part of fund-raising for their Sahara trek this November.

Hilary said: “We’re so thankful that Lord and Lady Scarbrough, two of our amazing patrons, agreed to kindly host a weekend of events at their beautiful home, and to everybody who attended or supported the event in some way.”

Lord Scarbrough added: “My wife and I were thrilled to have held such a beautiful weekend of events at our home, in aid of SAFE@LAST.”

“It has been thoroughly enjoyable and it has been wonderful to meet some new faces and reunite with old friends.”

“We are proud to support this superb charity.”
