Royal date for Clifton villagers

Residents will be putting out their entries into the scarecrow festival on June 5 with a trail around the village between 2pm to 5pm with strawberries and cream being served at the methodist church.

Clifton and Lightcliffe Band will perform in Clifton park for proms in the park on Friday June 10 at 7.30pm. Tickets £5 (Accompanied Children U11 Free)

Clifton Village Fete will see The Great Clifton Bake-Off, games, bar/beer tent and food stalls on Saturday June 11 from 1pm. A Ceilidh Night will see the No Mean Feet Ceilidh Band perform at 7.30pm on the same day. Tickets £5 (Accompanied Children U11 Free)

On Sunday June 12 at 11am a Clifton street party and fancy dress competition will be held with a Community Church Service in the Marquee (11am), and picnic in the park (noon). For more details about the events on the weekend visit www.cliftonvillagecommunity.org.uk/
