Runners are being urged to lace up their trainers and take part in multi-terrain challenge Alice’s Run for Epilepsy Action.
The 10k run will wind through the Calder Valley on Sunday, September 1. The race was set up to celebrate the life of Alice Redmond from Hebden Bridge who died following a tragic accident in August 2005. She worked at the charity during her student placement.
Her parents Liv and Steve said: “We are so pleased that so many people continue to support this event as a tribute to Alice and to raise funds for a charity which was so special in her life. We hope that this year’s event will, once again, be really successful and provide a splendid day out for everybody.”
